Book review -The Magic Pear Tree-

Shen doesn't like to share anything - especially not his yummy pears. Can a hungry beggar teach him a little kindness?

this story is in the Usborne First Reading series and retold by Rosie Dickins. A kind woman bought a pear for the hungry beggar.  When the beggar buried the pear's seed in the ground, the tree which had many pears grown soon. The beggar gave the pears to the woman, other people, and Shen. It was so yammy. However the beggar cut the tree, the tree vanished. All of the yammy pears were just Shen's !
I learned being selfish is not good for myself from this story.

(p,43-44) After I read this book, I thought this is a story about brave, love, and mercy in the time of the France Revolution. I could read this book easily and enjoy reading. The reason is this story was made into a movie and I was watched it before. Jan Baljean was punished because of his stealing, but he changed his mind when he met a merciful minister. Today, I'm going to talk about what I did on this weekend. I went to sports festival of my high school. I couldn't watch it much time, because I should have gone to my part-time job. But I could meet my favorite teacher and my junior, I became very happy. The sports festival of our high school's traditional event is flying balloons. It't was very beautiful and interesting! HENRY　AND　MUDGE　and the Tall Tree House

Uncle Jack has built Henry a tree house. Henry loves tree houses, but his dog, Mudge, can't climb tree and enter the tree houses. So Jack was unhappy. He climb down from the tree, and kiss and hug Mudge again and again because he want to share the happiness with him. I became so happy, when I read this book.
