Book review -The Gingerbread Man-

A little old woman makes a gingerbread man, but when she opens the oven door,
he runs away. Soon, everyone in the village is chasing after him. Will anyone ever
catch him?

This story is in the Usborne First Reading series and retold by Mairi Mackinnon. I was very surprised at the end of this story. When the Gingerbread Man reached the rever, a fox tried to help him with acrossing the river. However the fox had cheated him! Finaly the Gingerbreadman was eaten. Many books had happy end, but this story's end was sad! It was very interesting to me.

She learns thet Valjean is not her real father, but in her life there is only father, and that is Valfean, she tells him. (p,43-44) After I read this book, I thought this is a story about brave, love, and mercy in the time of the France Revolution. I could read this book easily and enjoy reading. The reason is this story was made into a movie and I was watched it before. Jan Baljean was punished because of his stealing, but he changed his mind when he met a merciful minister. Today, I'm going to talk about what I did on this weekend. I went to sports festival of my high school. I couldn't watch it much time, because I should have gone to my part-time job. But I could meet my favorite teacher and my junior, I became very happy. The sports festival of our high school's traditional event is flying balloons. It't was very beautiful and interesting! HENRY　AND　MUDGE　and the Tall Tree House

Uncle Jack has built Henry a tree house. Henry loves tree houses, but his dog, Mudge, can't climb tree and enter the tree houses. So Jack was unhappy. He climb down from the tree, and kiss and hug Mudge again and again because he want to share the happiness with him. I became so happy, when I read this book.
