Will the next number be six? Will it be their lucky number? Will it be their lucky day? (p.16) This story is written about a poor boy whose name is Charlie. Charlie is a shoeshine boy and he works very hard to support his family. One day he find a lottery ticket. This book ends before the last number of winning number is called, although the number is halfway through same as Charlie's one. So no one can know the fact is that who won the lottery. I think this is a interesting point of this book. Thanks to this, we can guess it and enjoy reading. If you are interested in this book, why don't you read it! It was easy and interesting. Mr.Rgers put something in her mouth. It was so good Mrs.Rogers forgot about being angry. " Lemon-meringue pie!" She exclaimed. (p.61-p.63)      Amlia Bedelia works as a housekeeper and she is a careless person. The first day of her serving, she was ordered to finish many works. For example cleaning, decoration of the house, preparing for dinner and "baking cake." When  the house owner came back she was scolded, because her works were different from the owner's order. However the owner became very happy after eating the cake made by Amelia.      After reading this book, I thought delicious foods can make many people happy, even if the people who were angry or depressed. I love delicious food very much! So I enjoyed reading this book. Peggy, Parish. (1963). Amelia Bedelia. New York. I Can Read.

"But when I say no fighting, NO FIGHTING! And when I say no biting, NO BITING! And when I say come along, COME! Do you hear, you to?" (p.50)       A boy and a girl are fighting and biting each other many times. One day, they heard a story from their cousin. After that, they realized fighting and biting is stupid behavior. This story tells us fighting and biting is how bad too. I have two sister and a brother and I would often be said got wrong with each other by our mother when we were young. So this story was interesting for me.      This book is in the I Can Read series. I has very cute illustrations and easy words. But the story is quit long. So you can enjoy reading it!
